FDA statement on Memocept
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
The FDA does not approve dietary supplements. Where this website says Memocept is made in an FDA-registered facility, that means the facility is registered with the agency — it is not a statement that the product has been reviewed or approved. the FDA explains the distinction.
Memocept medical disclaimer
Nothing on this website is medical advice. Memocept is a food supplement, not a treatment for dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment, age-related memory loss or any other condition. Do not use it to replace, reduce or delay anything a doctor has prescribed, and do not change a prescription because of something you read here.
If you or someone you care for has memory symptoms that are persistent or worsening, please see a doctor. NCCIH’s research digest concludes that no dietary supplement has been shown to prevent or treat cognitive decline or dementia, and the National Institute on Aging reaches the same conclusion about diet and Alzheimer’s prevention. A supplement is not a reason to delay an assessment.
Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before use if you take nitrates, erectile dysfunction drugs, blood pressure medication, blood thinners, statins or diabetes medication; if you have a diagnosed condition; or if you have surgery scheduled. This product is not for anyone under 18, or for anyone pregnant or nursing.
Known Memocept effects
Two effects of this panel are predictable and are described plainly across this website rather than buried here: niacin flushing — a warm, red, sometimes itchy flush of the face and neck, usually in the first days — and beta-alanine paraesthesia, a harmless prickling sensation. Both are reported by buyers in the published reviews. Neither is dangerous, and both are reasons some people stop.
Memocept results and testimonials
Individual results vary, and many people report no noticeable change at all. The reviews published on this website are supplied by buyers and describe those individuals’ own experiences. They are not typical results, they are not verified clinical outcomes, and they are not a promise that any particular person will experience the same thing.
About the Memocept scientific citations
This website links to peer-reviewed studies and public health-agency reference pages for the vitamins, minerals and amino acids named on the Memocept label. Those sources concern individual ingredients, studied at the doses those studies used.
They are not studies of Memocept. This product has not been the subject of a clinical trial of its own. Several of the cited studies measured cardiovascular or exercise outcomes rather than cognitive ones, and this website states that plainly on the pages where those studies appear rather than presenting them as evidence of a memory benefit.
Undisclosed Memocept amounts
The Memocept label names seven actives and publishes no milligram amount for any of them, which 21 CFR 101.36 permits for a proprietary formula. This website prints “not published” rather than estimating those amounts, and no figure for them appears anywhere on this site. Where a page compares an ingredient against the dose used in research, it is comparing against the physical limit of a single capsule, not against a disclosed number.
Accuracy of Memocept information
We write these pages from the product label and the manufacturer’s own documentation, and we check them. Labels, capsule counts and prices change. The bottle in your hand is the authority — if its panel differs from anything on this website, follow the bottle and tell us at [email protected] so we can correct the page.
Memocept commercial disclosure
This is a commercial website. It sells Memocept and earns money when you buy it. Read everything here with that in mind, including the parts that are critical of the product.
